How we make our videos
Last updated: 18 October 2026
Steady Mind 35 is a small, independent channel based in England, UK. It's for men over 35 who want to feel stronger, calmer and more in control, in body and in mind. We think you deserve to know exactly how our content is made, so here it is.
Who's behind it
Steady Mind 35 is run by a small independent team in England, started because we wanted calm, practical health content for men over 35, without the hype. We're not doctors, physiotherapists or therapists, and we never pretend to be.
How we choose and research topics
- We pick topics that matter to men in midlife: strength, movement, sleep, energy, stress, loneliness and purpose.
- We research each topic using reputable sources, such as the NHS, public health bodies and peer-reviewed research.
- Every script is read and checked by a human before it goes out. We check the facts, the tone and that nothing reads like personal medical advice.
- The sources for each video are listed in its description.
Where AI comes in
We use AI tools openly, and we label them:
- Voice: our videos are narrated with an AI voice. It's a licensed library voice, not a copy of any real person.
- Visuals: visuals are AI-generated or licensed stock footage.
- Writing: AI tools help with drafting and research, and a human reviews and edits every script.
- We switch on each platform's AI label (YouTube, TikTok and Instagram) for every upload.
- We never present an AI character as a real doctor, coach or client, and we never use made-up testimonials or before-and-after results.
What we won't cover
- Medical advice. Everything we share is general information for healthy adults. We don't diagnose, treat or give personal advice. Please speak to your GP or a qualified health professional before changing your exercise, diet or routine.
- Supplements and testosterone. We don't promote supplements with health claims, and we don't promote testosterone, TRT or clinics that offer it. For symptoms or blood tests, talk to your GP.
- Extreme diets or quick fixes. No crash diets, no "one weird trick".
Ads and affiliate links
If a video or email ever includes a paid promotion or an affiliate link, we'll say so clearly at the start, both in the video and at the top of the description.
Spotted a mistake?
We'd rather be corrected than be wrong. If something in a video looks inaccurate or out of date:
We'll check it, and if we got it wrong we'll correct it openly, with a pinned comment or a note in the description saying what changed.
